Then brew a cup of coffee from the Keurig (K-cups provided), and take in the peacefulness of the porch overlooking the woods below or the coziness of the couches with the glow from the fireplace and the warmth of one of several blankets in the living room. Meals are an event, not just a necessity! The kitchen is stocked with everything you should need to prepare a wonderful meal: pots and pans (including cast iron skillets), crock pot, toaster, blender, mixer, a variety of utensils, and glassware for every choice of drink. If you’re craving a steak or some salmon, then the gas grill on the porch is just what you’re looking for. Once you have whatever it is you’re going to eat, set a nice spot either at the table in the kitchen or at the table on the porch. In either case, use the decanter to pour a fine bottle of wine! If you’re not in the mood to make something involved, then several restaurants are a short drive away.
