Alex’s home is centrally located and the perfect location for walking to the city sites and various restaurants. There really was no need for a car in the walled city of Cartagena. His home was perfect for what we were looking for. Both bedrooms have a.c and were perfect for cooling off after a walk in the city. The roof top was perfect to hang out at night as the temperature in the evening is much cooler. Lastly Freddy and his family made us feel welcomed and provided us with additional assistance locating eateries and sites for us to visit. The church Freddy recommended was perfect as the visit was to celebrate my mother’s 75th birthday and attending mass was one of her requests while staying in Cartagena. Alex’s home is very charming and is a place that I would request in the future.

My family and I, including our toddler and aged parents, had a wonderful week at Alex's place. The location is absolutely perfect for those looking to be in the centre of the action of old town Cartagena and, despite being in a busy area, was still very private and quiet. Also, having the supermarket across the street was very useful and also the various street food vendors to try right outside. We enjoyed the open air concept and Alex was very honest about the lack of air conditioning in that space, but we were able to enjoy a getaway from the heat in the comfortable bedrooms. Fredy was an amazing caretaker and was very responsive to our needs, even providing a how to video when we forgot the instructions for locking the front door. Alex and Fredy provide easily accessible online methods for contacting them and both provided great suggestions and tips for the city. Their driver was also fantastic and friendly. I would highly recommend this apartment.

The place was amazing with an amazing rooftop. We had an amazing interaction with a guy named Freddy. This guy took care of us. He was very welcoming gave us a run down on things to do and what to be cautious of. Overall amazing time here.

Have stayed on both sides of this two apartment unit now and I just can’t say enough about the beautiful character of the building and especially of the caretakers Freddy and Ricarda.
