After visiting Lille and Arras, Hesdin was our final stop. The city is easily reachable by train, and the Petite Maison was a truly delightful place to stay at. We spent our weekend biking around the area of Vieil-Hesdin, Grigny, Auchy, and Le Parcq, basking in the beautiful landscape while searching for traces of the sumptuous medieval castle and garden park of yore. Every first Saturday of the month, there is a guided tour of Vieil-Hesdin — truly worth joining if you can. At the end of all our exploring, we so enjoyed retiring in the Petite Maison. It is delightfully furnished, a maximalist’s dream, completely unlike any other Airbnb I’ve stayed at! The house is also not lacking in luxury. Nothing better after a day of cycling than to rest in the cosy jacuzzi bath. Last but definitely not least: Karen is a fantastic host. So responsive, so kind, helpful, and accommodating, she made us feel very welcome. We’ve had the most wonderful time here and would love to return in the future!

My wife and myself had a fabulous stay with Karen. She is one amazing lady! We just loved the house and the decor. The bed was very comfortable and the Jacuzzi bath completely outstanding ,would highly recommend.
