Rosie was a fantastic host - she gave us a great recommendation for a local chef to bring in one evening upon arrival, had a basket of local goods awaiting our arrival, was extremely responsive, as well as being very flexible and accommodating with check in and check out times. The place itself was an incredible stay - beautiful property, pristine & clean, great for a dog & baby, and the perfect home for a celebratory group get-away! Highly recommend. Thank you Rosie!

Rosie went above and beyond to make us feel at ease about our booking at the Oak Barn for our family gathering. With one of us in a wheelchair, accessibility and ease of movement was key, and the Oak Barn did not disappoint. All on one level with wide doorways and corridors, spacious rooms, walk-in showers and no clutter, everything was wheelchair friendly without ever feeling like there were special dispensations or adaptations - it was just elegantly and sensibly designed to suit all abilities. Rosie’s place felt luxurious, cosy, homely and stylish. The kitchen was very well appointed for self-catering, with delightful personal touches from Rosie for our welcome, and it served as our main family hub for cooking, eating, nattering and playing games. However we always had the living room, delightful book nook and our cosy bedrooms to retreat to if we wanted some personal space. What a gem of a place! We’re already dreaming of our next holiday there 😊

The accommodation was beautiful, had everything we needed included a beautiful welcome pack and the host fantastic at replying. However we had an issue where the master bedroom smelled very strongly of backed up drains/sewage from the ensuite. This seemed to be a known issue with the drains and the solution of running the taps solved the problem but did mean the room was uninhabitable for the first night as it took a long time to clear and unfortunately the smell did spread into the living room. It was immaculately clean, just a plumbing issue.

The house was beautiful and exactly as shown in the photos. We had everything we could need and more. Rosie was so responsive and helpful. Great location close to the broads and not far from the coast. The beds were comfy, the house was clean and there were lots of lovely little touches throughout. We had a wonderful long weekend and would definitely recommend and stay again ourselves!

Thank you Rosie for a wonderful stay at your beautiful property. We visited for a weekend to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday and the house was just perfect. Rosie was very responsive to questions. The house was really well stocked with little extras (blankets in the living room a particular favourite) and the kitchen was also stuffed full of lovely goodies and luxuries including a Nespresso machine. Thank you Rosie for helping to make this important family occasion extra special.
