The whistle stop retreat was perfect for my needs. It is a very comfortable house in a convenient location. I couldn’t have been more satisfied. I highly recommend.

Very happy with my stay! Went for a walk every morning in the neighborhood and it was easy to venture to other parts of Birmingham for restaurants and activities. Super convenient location while still being quiet and calm. Would absolutely book again!

Perfect little house for someone traveling. Nice backyard. I did sit outside on the front porch swing and in the back on the sitting area a lot. Well at least until it got cold. Neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is quiet. We felt safe. Sandy was a wealth of info on how laces to see and things to do, as well as where to eat. House is close to everything. They are excellent hosts! I lost some jewelry in the drain and they had a plumber over there the next morning. Could not ask for a more professional or friendly host!
