I just finished a week-long stay at Candace’s lovely home in Sandwich.  It is a big home, well situated, and on a nice piece of property.  There was a swing set that my grandchildren enjoyed as well as a patio area to sit.  She provided many things to make our stay more comfortable such as beach chairs and an umbrella we were welcome to use, beach toys, and many toys and books for our toddlers to use.  There was a welcome basket with wine and supplies for making s’mores; it even included the sticks.  The beautiful gas-powered fire pit made it easy and fun.  There was a lovely family room and a large dining room that made gathering together with our large family easy.  Candace provided a guide with area attractions too.  We did have a couple of issues when we checked in, but Candace was very responsive and did her best to quickly remedy the problems.

The house is wonderful! We had a huge group of adults and teenagers and plenty of room to spread out. Loved how homey it felt…we cooked in the well-stocked kitchen, made s’mores with the fire pit, and played board games at the huge dining room table. We were so grateful to have our doggies there too…they loved the huge backyard! The location is so lovely too - right in the center of the village. Thanks to our fab hosts - we can’t wait to return!!!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful historic home in Sandwich. Below are some of the things we enjoyed & really appreciated: -Candace was a wonderful host. She was very informative, helpful & responsive. -She created and shared a wonderful guide to the area that was full of all sorts of recommendations. We loved her suggestions and used many of them. -She also provided a very helpful informative guide to staying in the house. -The house has lots of bedrooms and full bathrooms so each couple/person can have their own separate bathroom. - It has a very nice modern kitchen with a large refrigerator in the main house and in the carriage house -the house was fully furnished and stocked with dishes, utensils, sheets, towels and everything we needed for our trip -the beds were comfortable -the kids room was great with bunk beds, crib and an extra pack n play -We loved the large open living room space -The house also has one full bath with a nice large tub which was great for bathing young children -The carriage house was a great place to stay as well and was very spacious. -We really enjoyed the large private back yard space. It has a nice firepit, grill, table, chairs. Also the kids loved the nice new swingset! -The wagon, toys and beach gear that was provided was very useful and a nice touch. -The house has a large paved driveway with room for multiple vehicles -They have lawn treatments done to help with bugs and tics. We had no issues with bugs or tics which was much appreciated. -The location of the house was awesome. It was in a very nice neighborhood and was close to shops restaurants and a few beaches. We had a wonderful trip to Sandwich and would love to stay in this home again sometime.

The perfect spot for family! I booked time at the August house for my extended family to have a week away, and wow. What a week it was. Candace and her family have added so many small, personal touches. From the fully stocked kitchen set up for a large feast, to the back yard stocked with volleyball and plenty of seating, to the library of books to relax with on a rainy day. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant environment. Candace was highly communicative leading up to our stay, and helped us to find activities nearby for each member of the family. She had great ideas and suggestions, from local putt-putt to a natural lazy river we could take out to the ocean. We were across the street from a number of great restaurants and were only a few-minute walk from the beach, a local pond, and hiking. When we arrived, we were greeted with a welcome snack and drink, and with all of the amenities needed to make the stay stellar. This is an old house with old-house charm, but with modern amenities throughout. The first floor is super modern, and the bedrooms are quaint and comfortable. Finally, this house has wings! No, literally. The third floor has its own living room and the carriage house is a fully independent apartment (with full kitchen). It was great to be able to get some quiet time with my partner, away from the hustle and bustle of the family. We will definitely be back again.
