This place is massive (Hemingway House 15) and would be ideal for several families at once. We were just a small group but there were no other options for our family with a hot tub so we picked this place even though we definitely didn’t need so much space. Overall, it’s a great location. About 30 minutes from Canaan Valley. Same distance to the grocery store as well, so recommend stopping along the way if you don’t want an hour round trip grocery trip after settling in. There are two of everything in the kitchen, which was wild! The only negatives I’d note were: 1) the place is fine but definitely antiquated… needs some TLC and updating but if you don’t mind that, everything pretty much works great and the hot tub is awesome 2) the WiFi was very unreliable and there was no resolution after contacting the host 3) the neighbors are a bit nosey and bossy but I can’t really blame them as it’s a remote spot. Pros: secluded, beautiful location with great views and tons of space + privacy.

We had a great reunion trip here with friends! This house was perfect for a larger gathering with everything you’d need to feed a large crowd, well stocked with clean linens and double of everything in the kitchen. Awesome deck space with a great hot tub and two separate living areas. We had a blast and hope to visit again!
