We were left breathless by the SPECTACULAR views from this beautiful resort. The resort offers the perfect mixture of high end luxury while retaining the rustic mountain side cabin feel. We enjoyed cocktails and appetizers at the hotel lounge at sunset while taking in the panoramic views of the pacific. The menu has been scaled back somewhat due to covid so it now offers light breakfast (best pancakes I’ve ever had) and more of a gastropub menu in the evening. The cocktails were well above average. The service offered by the resort staff is top notch. Prepare to feel like VIP guests. In our spacious 2 story 1 BR unit, we took advantage of the wood burning fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and full kitchen. The location was ideal. Less than 10 minutes to drive to Carmel, 15 minutes to Carmel Valley, 20 minutes to the Monterrey Aquarium, and about 20 minutes down highway 1 to Big Sur. We loved it so much that we booked a second stay before we even left. I can’t say enough about this beautiful ocean front, mountainside retreat.
