Dave was very responsive. The place is a GEM. Right on the lake and no one in your way! Wineries everywhere. The people in the area are super nice. Great towns to walk and investigate. And nobody drives too fast so it’s just a really nice, peaceful getaway! We didn’t have a TV on or music for three straight days and didn’t even notice. Just enjoyed the sound of the waves and wind. Also…beautiful drive in…you have to drive slowly down the driveway/road and you get to see swans and cranes and heron and orioles…I wasn’t expecting that!

This is our second visit here! We love Dave’s place! It’s very peaceful and serene. We enjoyed walks on the beach, bird watching, sitting in the hot tub and around the fire pit. The view from the house is amazing! The house is very clean, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. We can’t wait to come back!

“Wow!!” That’s what we kept saying over & over again during our entire visit to this beautiful vacation home. From the moment you arrive you are treated to an amazing lake view, natural beach shoreline & the relaxing sounds of waves & seagulls. “Wow!!” When you step inside you are met with a cozy yet luxurious home that was thoughtfully planned with your enjoyment & relaxation in mind. Giant windows so you don’t miss a moment of the beautiful view, comfortable yet tasteful furniture, a grand kitchen that my Chef ( yes, he’s an actual chef of 30 yrs) husband loved, an island that is the heart of the house perfect for meals or games, charming bedrooms with fresh, super soft linens, a very large bathroom that feels like your own private spa in a 5 STAR hotel, a breathtaking deck to give you even better views of the lake & a perfect, lovingly landscaped backyard with an inviting hot tub. “Wow!!” Amazing & helpful hosts who really think of everything for you & your enjoyment. “WOW!!”

Loved our stay! It was peaceful, beautiful and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for in our vacation. The views were spectacular, we enjoyed watching the geese and swans gather every day in the sound next to us. The house was actually clean, which is hard to find anymore. The bed was very comfortable, fireplace was beautiful and warming. The kitchen was one of the most well stocked I’ve ever seen, even fresh garlic in the cabinet. The pans were so nice, I want to get them for myself. Even though there is a house next door, it feels private and the house is designed so that you feel like you’re the only ones on the lake. The wineries were nice as well, Oxley was one of our favorite and the lunch was delicious. We will definitely be back to this region and would definitely stay at Dave’s place again!
