We had a lovely stay at houtkapperspoort. We stayed with our family with four boys and enjoyed the swimming pool, play area and beautiful garden. We did a hike in the morning at Constantia nek before breakfast and enjoyed stunning views. The cottage was simple, but everything you need. People were very friendly and helpful. We had some electrical issues but it was solved immediately. One thing.. We experienced loadshedding two times at dinner time. No problem, we understand , but nice to get informed in advance because oven and microwave were not working. The location is super, close to wineries, beach and the peninsula, but also easy to reach the city bowl. It’s quite and peaceful. All together we enjoyed to much and we love to come back!

It’s a beautiful and peaceful place. Our kids were so thrilled to see our morning visitors ( baboons and springboks). The area is well taken care of and the check in and check out was perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the Constantia area.
