Normandy Cottage is a self catering, self contained apartment abutting Normandy House, situated in a curve of the Sundays River and flanking the Camdeboo National Park. Enjoy this 11 hectare haven of country tranquility 5 km from the historic town of Graaff Reinet. The cottage has a double bed and single bed in a very spacious bedroom, en suite bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and private terrace with views of the gardens and famous Spandaukop. Safe parking for cars/boats/trailers. The cottage has a fully equipped Oregon pine kitchen, with braai facilities available on request. The cottage is serviced daily. Normandy's lovely garden walks have outstanding views, a rich variety of birdlife and farm animals.

Lionel and Linda redefine the 'Perfect Host'. So welcoming, interesting, and helpful, we feel like we know them so well already and an encouragement to come back. A small piece of paradise and yet so close to town where the Hello You was really good for dinner. Utah, our choc Lab made new friends with Bobbie. Nobody wanted to leave!

Lionel and Linda accommodated us last minute and we had a warm and friendly welcome from them and Bobby. The garden is lovely and I particularly loved the smell of lavender when I opened the door the next morning.

We last minute booked with Lionel and Linda and felt at home immediately. The place is a typical Karoo farm with pool and beautiful surroundings and is closely located to Graaff Reinet. We would definitely recommend booking with Lionel and Linda!

Normandy Farm is situated in a verdant loop of the Sundays River, 5 km from historic Graaff Reinet, and around the corner from the Graaff Reinet Golf Club. Graaff-Reinet is the 4th oldest town in South Africa and one of the most beautiful. There is a strong Cape Dutch architectural influence and the wide streets are lined with jacaranda and flamboyant trees. There are charming restaurants, museums and cafes, antique shops, spas, a bookshop, deli, and other local businesses, as well as larger country-wide chains for clothing, grocery and equipment purchases, all of which are easy access for farm guests.
