Ski, hike, bike, snowmobile, swim, climb & explore the many adventure hubs within driving distance. Polar Caves, Ski Tenney & Plymouth (~10 min), Appalachian Trailhead, Newfound or Squam Lake (~20 mins) Lincoln/Woodstock, Loon, Kancamagus, Waterville (~35 min). The cabin is perfect for couples & families looking to relax, enjoy nature, and explore. Please READ EVERYTHING before booking! Keep it wild & cozy at our vintage 900 sq ft. cabin near Stinson Lake. This updated "no-fuss" cabin is perfect for couples & families of up to 4 guests. No wedding groups please. Upon arrival, you'll enter through the screened porch. Inside the cabin, you'll find an open concept living/kitchen/dining that's centered around a wood burning stove (do not bring wood!). There's also a large smart TV to watch NetFlix or stream your favorite shows. Note: The ceilings are 7' high, which is not ideal for tall guests! The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric stove/oven, full-size fridge, and cooking essentials. The large bedroom has a new queen bed, TV and closet. The small bedroom has bunk beds. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower. Inside (sleeps 4 guests): ☑ kitchen w/full-size fridge & stove ☑ 42" smart TV in living room ☑ queen bed in main bedroom ☑ twin bunks in small bedroom ☑ 1 bath with shower, sink, flushing toilet Other amenities: ☑ cable internet, wi-fi, cell-phone booster ☑ wood stove (do not bring in wood) ☑ portable A/C, electric heat ☑ bed linens; 1 bath towel per guest ☑ small stackable washer/dryer ☑ coffee and cooking essentials ☑ drinking water (well-water is also potable!) Outside: ☑ private deck with gas grill ☑ outdoor wood stove (do not bring wood) ☑ outdoor seating ☑ trail to brook (~300ft from the cabin) The outside deck at the back of the cabin looks off to the woods and trail that leads down to beautiful Stinson Brook and our swimming hole. The swimming hole is seasonal and therefore affected by recent rainfall & weather conditions. If it's been rainy, expect roaring rapids, while during late summer droughts, expect a calm, gentle flow. There are SLIPPERY ROCKS. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Bring water shoes if you intend to enter the brook. Please respect our year-round neighbors and property lines! Could have stayed there for weeks and loved every minute of it. So sad to have to leave.
One of our favorite AirBnb’s to date!! Came to Rumney to do some spring climbing and the crag is less than 10 min away from Carol and Devin’s cabin. You can tell how much love they’ve put into this cabin from the screened in porch to the comfortable and cozy spaces to sit and relax (so many blankets!). Everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals and prep snacks for days out climbing. The deck and chiminea were perfect for winding down. Carol was super responsive to all our questions. Would love to stay here again!!
We enjoyed our fall getaway in Rumney! Carol’s place was cute and cozy, and the wood stove was perfect for the cold evenings. Carol’s instructions were very clear and we were able to find everything very easily.
The surprising part is that Carol prepared a lot of needed little things to enjoy the stay, such as flashlight, portable lights, charging cables, and all kinds of essentials.
Such a cute little cabin in the woods! Greeted by neighbor chickens upon arrival. So cozy, we felt right at home! Close to hiking & great food. Would recommend to anyone & we are definitely interested in staying again in the future.

Our cabin is less than a mile from 342 acre Stinson Lake, the largest lake White Mountain National Forest. It's about 10 minutes to Ski Tenney. Here in NH you’ll find your activity of choice, be it leaf-peeping, fishing, biking, boating, skiing, climbing, or hiking. You’ll be staying along the southwest perimeter of WMNF. Nearby Plymouth (just 10 mins) has shopping, groceries, and dining options. The cabin is just northwest the NH Lakes Reqion. Adventure hubs like Lincoln, Woodstock, and Franconia Notch are within a 45 min drive.
There's enough parking for 2 cars (max). Stinson Lake is in walking distances, while other activities are in driving distance. Snowmobile and hiking trail access is about 1 mile from the cabin.
