享受这座历史悠久、相当偏僻的乡村周围的自然美景。
Found this pristine gem by chance. A rural village stay had been on my bucket list, and Rohith has taken great care to make this stay as comfortable as possible for us city dwellers. As a solo traveler, I had some concerns over the main door, which has a bit of a space that can make anyone outside easily unlatch the door, but after some initial reservations, that didn't bother me. A quaint stay - some of the rooms could be claustrophobic, but Rohith had already communicated that to me well in advance. It didn't bother me, I have to say, despite a history of feeling suffocated in small spaces. Ample space to wander around the house. And a lot of care for the bathroom, which was pristine. And a fridge as well with a microwave. The food could have been better, but I won't complain because this place has been created with so much love.
To begin with, the house was exactly as described, absolutely clean & organized. It was truly beautiful & everything was working as expected. However, the lack of pictures of the neighbouring homes made us think that this was a secluded property & hence we booked it. Upon arriving, we realized that this was just another house in a row of multiple houses on both sides of the road. This was a typical house in a village, with houses all around, and village folks going about their daily lives. While the description of the place aptly describes it, this isn't a place that you wanna book if you want to stay away from the crowd. There was hardly anything to do, with the mere exception of a walk to the small lake outside the village, and the fields all around. I feel the host should also post pictures of the surrounding neighbourhood so that people get an exact idea of what they are booking. I feel our travel this far to stay in this place wasn't justified, given the surroudning neighbourhood.
As described in the listing, this place is worth it only if the intention is to 'Discover Rural life styles' in agrahara type village. The village is so clean that you can walk barefoot. A bright and big flower was placed in all the tulsi pots in front of all the houses. In the month of Nov (probably because of Kartik Maas), two diyas were kept during dusk at the two corners of the door step in almost all the houses. You would expect finally you would get to see a pitch dark night but then street lamps lit 6 pm make the night safe and the temple nearby playing bhajans bring so much positivity. Try smelling the marigolds if you see them. The people interact with you in Kannada and are warm and friendly. I managed with my begginer level Kannada, wish I had leveled up my Kannada proficiency for more memorable stay.
The place was clean and we had a good stay. However these things lacked and could be added. 1. Wifi limit of 2 gb per day was provided but there was no TV. One which was present there wasnt working. 2. Kitchen didnt have utensils for cooking any dish. Atleast an induction cook top with few utensils would have helped. 3. Drinking water/water filter wasnt provided and here was no shop at vicinity to purchase. You need to carry water and other items prior to stay. 4. Entrance corridor had windows only with grills and no glass/cover, which meant there was no safety and anyone could have easily opened the main door and come in at night. Rest all we were happy, it was a good stay. But if above things would be added, it would really be a great stay
