Fantastic place on the beach. Exceeded our expectations Loved the fire pit and the deck chairs overlooking the ocean and the sound of the lapping waves. My husband and our little puppy loved it too. Very highly recommended - would love to go again - perfect spot to relax, read a good book and cook. It has all the gadgets I needed to prepare lovely meals using fresh local fish and produce.

My wife and I had a great stay with our small dog who loved the backyard. We sat outside for hours watching the northern lights by the water. The cottage is a small studio, but the fenced in yard and areas to sit outside by the water were great. The location is remote (pretty far south on the island, down a steep one-lane hill to get to beach). The neighbors were friendly and said hello, and gave us a recommendation for something to do on the island that worked out.

Perfect beautiful and private retreat for myself. Clean and safe surroundings right on the water plus a relaxing yard. I greatly enjoyed a coffee on the lounge chair overlooking the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at the Boathouse. It’s calm and peaceful and we were even lucky enough to have some great weather and see some whales. It’s such a great place to stay.
