Absolutely loved our stay. Place was exactly as described, Kate communicated fantastically, was clean and ready, and Kate added a bunch of little extras which made our stay wonderful - fresh bread, jelly, and eggs; an extra mattress so I could sleep in my kiddo’s room; etc. Check out was also extremely easy - we’ve all stayed at other Airbnb’s that have a million rules to check out. Not the case here which we also appreciated. Last thing I’d mention about the place: we have two little boys who just loved chasing the chickens, horses, and cat outside. Watching them play from the sunroom made for a pretty awesome trip even before we explored mammoth cave and the other attractions.

What a beautiful area. Katherine left us farm fresh eggs and homemade bread. The kids enjoyed playing in the yard. The sunroom and porch was awesome.

We absolutely love staying at Firefly Junction, this was our second time staying, and we hope to be back in the fall. Katherine is a wonderful host. Everything was perfect. The view was absolutely beautiful! Fresh eggs, and fresh bread was perfect for a Sunday morning breakfast. we’ve stayed at several Airbnb’s and this one by far is our favorite.

Nice country setting. Away from tourist traps. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed like dishes, silverware, pots and pans, ketchup, mustard, towels, ice, laundry soap, first aid kit, paper towels, ziplocs and more. The host really thought of everything. The small upstairs has two hanging beds. Really neat idea but more suited for kids. The main floor has 1 bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The couch in the living room is very soft and comfortable, and the couch in the den pulls out! It could fit 2-3 people. Plenty of blankets and a laundry room. There is no tub. The bathroom and laundry are in the same room, and the toilet was in a closet. If you're looking for a stay with a fancy bathroom this isn't it. But this house is 10 times better than a two queen room at any hotel. Be aware there is a very slight step up between the living room and kitchen. We would definitely stay here again. There's a fire pit and grill too!

What an amazing place ! The backyard has beautiful views of the rolling hills :). The house was really comfortable and Katherine left us bread, eggs and apple jelly which were delicious . The best part is Katherine and Marty are great hosts and wonderful people. I wish I could give them 10 stars !! Definitely would come back here
