We were let down on another accommodation at short notice (they double booked us 🙈) and John saved the day! I messaged him at 7 on Friday evening to see if we could book Lavender cottage and he responded immediately and was very accommodating 😊 The cottage was perfect! I was with 4 girlfriends and we wanted a weekend away to catch up and relax. We have all coke away feeling so fresh. The hot tub and sauna are amazing and the area is super peaceful. We only left the cottage once to go for a little walk in the lovely area. John was the perfect host and we are looking forward to coming back and also checking out his other cottages.

brilliant relaxing quick getaway

Last minute getaway because we needed it. We arrived at Lavender Cottage set in a rural quiet setting in Stoke Ash, it was stunning. The cottage was clean and tidy with everything we needed for our stay. Lottie dog was very happy as she found treats and a big comfy bed. We went straight into the hot tub and sauna, had a super chilled evening, lit the BBQ tidied then sat in front of the wood burner and drank wine then went to bed which was super comfy. The next day we went out to see the local sights and then travelled to the nearest beach which was an hour away so that Lottie dog could run around, and we could eat fish and chips. John is a fabulous host his communication was excellent, we opted to stay a little longer to make use of the facilities have a leisurely breakfast ready for our journey home. Thank you John for having us we definitely will be back!

John was a great host and the place was lovely. John was very quick to reply to messages and flexible to give us a later check out time. The place was so nice and very simple instructions on how to use and do everything would definitely come back again. Thank you very much John for a pleasant stay

Beautiful cottage, with great hot tub. Would recommend the local pub for a roast. Really helpful and thoughtful hosts.
