Casa Serrano is a lovingly restored and modernised 200m2, 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home with a huge 90m2 terrace. We are situated a 10 minute walk from plaza Serrano which is in the heart of Palermo Soho. From the moment you enter this historic 'casa chorizo', you’ll appreciate the attention to detail and care that has been poured into a complete renovation. At every point during the project we have tried to respect the original construction while adding spectacular modern touches. 4 large bedrooms (3 ground floor, 1 first floor), each with their own delightful bathroom, using traditional materials and modern high-end fixtures to create luxurious comfort and style. A huge open kitchen, dining and living area are the heart of the home, adjacent to a bright airy enclosed patio bringing light and greenery into all the ground floor rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped, including Hansgrohe Axor faucets, a 5 burner extra wide hob and oven, and is beautifully finished with Carrara marble worktops and lapacho furniture. Modern lighting enables you to create any mood you please and a wood burner gives a warm focal point on winter nights. Up the expansive quebracho staircase, you'll find the 4th bedroom with walk in closet and bathroom, a second living area with 60inch TV, and access to the fully landscaped terrace with enormous parilla (grill). On the terrace there’s a comfortable seating area for 12 - or more - under the pinotea pergola made from the original roof beams of the house. With more seating areas surrounded by local plants, and an outdoor shower, it’s the perfect setting for entertaining and relaxation. The home has multi split inverter air conditioning in all rooms and central heating via radiators. A combi boiler provides efficient and effective hot water and good pressure throughout the home and the automated irrigation system takes care of the plants. Mobility restricted guests will have easy no-step access to the 3 bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor and the open kitchen and living and dining room. The upper floor has a wide staircase to access it Wifi is 150mbps and reaches all parts of the house comfortably, while smart flatscreen TVs are available with cable channels, Netflix and Disney+ (using your own accounts) in one bedroom and the upper living room for further entertainment. Casa Serrano is a newly-renovated, top of the line property with every luxury you’d hope for, lots of traditional charm and plenty more to surprise and delight.

I don’t even know where to begin with my review of Casa Serrano. From the moment I booked the home the communication with Agustina, the house manager, was nothing short of extraordinary. She replied quickly, made me feel comfortable about my decision to book this home, sent me the absolute best recommendations and responded quickly to any question we had prior to and during the trip. The location is in a wonderful safe neighborhood where we walked to many restaurants, shopping and markets to buy groceries and supplies for the house we needed. The beds are very comfortable and it was nice that each room has its own bathroom for our group. The rooftop terrace is perfect for sitting, relaxing and hosting an Asado which Agustina cooked and prepared for us twice in our 12 day stay. I would highly recommend this home and especially Agustina for your stay in Argentina. We explored all over Buenos Aires and were never more than a 25 minutes Uber ride from everything we wanted to see and do!
We recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a mixed experience. Firstly, the host was fantastic - very accommodating and excellent communication throughout our stay. The location was superb, perfect for exploring the area. The property itself was luxurious and spacious, ideal for big groups. However, we encountered some issues with the bathrooms and hot water. The bathrooms seemed to have drainage problems, and cleanliness could have been better. Considering the luxury property price, we were disappointed with the lack of basic kitchen and bathroom supplies. It would have been appreciated to have more than just water-filled handwash and a few towels provided. Overall, it was a decent stay, but improvements in bathroom maintenance and providing essential supplies would make it much more enjoyable, especially given the price.
We had a fantastic stay at Casa Serrano--it's a beautiful home that is perfect for a group visiting BA. The house is stylishly decorated and spotlessly clean. We highly recommend it.
Excelente en todo sentido. Un lugar muy lindo y completamente equipado. La ubicación es muy buena cerca de restaurantes y a pocas cuadras de plaza serrano corazón de Palermo Soho. Las fotos no son tan buenas como es el lugar. Recomendable 100%. Solo el check out hay que mejorarlo para poder dejar las maletas en algún lugar.
I wanted to move to BA after our stay. Great Location. Beautifully remodeled and designed. They went above and beyond and helped us rent a mini bus to attend a wedding out of town. 10 Stars! Highly recommend.

We are situated just over the boarder from Palermo Soho in a rapidly evolving neighbourhood called Villa Crespo. Perhaps you could call it Palermo Crespo since it has many of the attractions the the Palermo Soho area (exciting restaurants and bars, excellent shopping, low rise village-feel with traditional architecture) without the noisy street life of the the nightclubs and late bars which parts of Palermo has.
And then Villa Crespo has a few twists of its own such as it’s own football club (Atlanta), the true porteño avenue Corrientes, and the grungy car-workshops-by-day-bars-by-night area of Warnes Avenue.
Villa Crespo is the neighbourhood to stay in for those in the know: up and coming, dynamic and full of new restaurants and bars too explore, while keeping hold of that quintessential Buenos Aires barrio feel.
On street parking is free, although not always easy. However, there are multiple parking garages. We are 5 blocks from Malabia subway on line B, there’s a 55 bus bus stop a block away and there are many other bus lines on Corrientes Avenue, 3 blocks away
