The neighborhood was lovely and peaceful. Most importantly, the room was close enough for me to walk to Ringling College to visit my nephew. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the bed was stripped, and there was a basket of damp laundry. When I contacted Carine with a photo, she seemed surprised and then said the housekeeper had "to leave and forgot to make the bed. I'm sorry. Can you just do that yourself?" While not egregious I have never stayed in a paid lodging where this was the case. It's kind of the bare minimum. It was late (9:30 pm) and I was tired and just wanted to go to bed. I spread out the damp laundry and turned on the fan to dry while I showered. The bathroom was the best part of the lodging. It seemed clean, nicely renovated, and had a few extra supplies in the drawers. I didn't mind having to run the water until it heated up, as warned. However, at bedtime (11 pm) there was a giant bug on the floor. I did not sleep. Is this why housekeeper left abruptly?

Carine was very friendly. I was only there for 1 night. She invited me into her home for a glass of wine and some snacks with her and her friends. This place was perfect. Separate entrance, full bath attached to the room. The only thing I would suggest is the porch furniture needs updating. I have stayed at a lot of Airbnb's and this is one of the best.

The room had all our needs. Quite neighborhood. Short walk to a private beach and close to downtown.

Lovely tiny room , with your private entrance . So clean and Spotless. It was easy to find . MiKael also gave me recommendations on where to go . Really great experience. I would go back .
