This Copper Pearl, inspired by Pearl de Vere, is a victorian home with a hot tub that was built in 1890. She is a beautiful gem located directly behind the west parking lot of the Wildwood Casino in Cripple Creek making it a perfect location for accessing the fun that is the town of Cripple Creek. There is a casino shuttle that is on demand and can take you anywhere in town. The home has had some beautiful upgrades but also has some unique and classic charm. She is over 130 years old! This Victorian home is 2054 sq ft and it is a charmer with so much character. It has a copper colored roof and a wrapping porch that often hosts the local hummingbirds. They love to share space in the morning while guests enjoy coffee on the porch. The house name was inspired by Pearl de Vere, a local madam from the gold rush era in the area. I highly suggest you stop in to the Old Homestead House to learn more about her with a tour. The kitchen is upgraded with a gas range and stainless steel appliances. Please note the house is on a sloped lot and there are entry stairs. While not super extreme, a few of the interior floors do slightly slope as is often characteristic of the homes remaining from the era. She was built in 1890 so doing pretty fantastic all considering. The main suite is downstairs and has a bathroom that joins out to a hot tub with a ton of privacy. This red room features a king sized bed. The upstairs bathroom is under renovation but is fully useable and in working order. The other bedroom (blackberry color) is upstairs and has a queen and twin bed. There are a couple of nice common areas upstairs. This includes a nice sitting room (green color). This serves as a second Room with television in case people in your party need the extra space. The house does have a gas fireplace in the living room for cozy conversations and a gas stove upstairs that heats the whole floor. Please come enjoy the art nouveau/deco features that made me love the home. There is a ton of fun to be had in town and when you’re ready for a soak after all the play the hot tub will be waiting. There is also a pull out couch in the den as well as a pack and play for our smallest guests. There is also a portable high chair available. The house has a karaoke machine, an Alexa, and a SmartTV. Each bedroom has it’s own television outfitted with a Roku. The yard is fully enclosed and ready for your pups to come visit with you. It is a perfect location to be close to the fun but also have some privacy, space, and relaxation with your loved ones. Hope you enjoy The Copper Pearl.
