Rosa Maria's place was peaceful. VERY quiet and removed from La Paz central. Absolutely requires a car rental as there are no beaches, or services nearby (the Marriott City Express next door was closed for construction). One overpriced Marina restaurant and a small market on site but no beach or water access. It is a healthy walk into town (about 1+ mile). The parking spot allocated to apartment is great but is often used by other neighbors possibly assuming apt is vacant. Interior furnishings are nice. Apt is roomy with comfortable beds. Wifi never worked for us; we had to skim from the Marina wifi. Kitchen is clean but a few missing items that would have made it more comfortable (such as wine glasses, plastic baggies, foil, tea), are missing. The two sets of beach towels were a welcome feature. Note: there are no beach umbrellas, beach chairs or tote bags but certainly street vendors to buy from if/ when needed. Nice apt but much more remote than anticipated.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Rosa’s condo. The location was amazing. Our balcony over looked the marina; and we had a great view of the bay. A restaurant and very friendly bar also at the marina. The 40 minute walk to the heart of downtown was very pedestrian friendly, easy access to the beautiful malecon, with a two way bike path on one side of the malecon, and the sea on the other side. The unit was clean, breezy, bright and sunny, everything we needed for our 3 month stay. I cannot say enough good things about our host. We had a couple of issues when we first arrived, but as soon as we notified Rosa, she addressed them the same day! Any time we a question, she would text us back immediately. She personally went out of her way to make sure we knew where we could get everything we needed for our long term stay. She even took me personally to the store to help us set up our Mexican phone, and to the market to show me where you get the best chicken and fish!
