Wonderful remote location great views! Great staff! Just make sure you your ready for seeing the wildlife! Amazing place. Stay with the remote drive!

Great find! Clean room on beautiful property. Staff was wonderful. Stay was quiet and we saw lots of wildlife. Would stay again!

This place is so unexpectedly cool. First, we arrived at night so it felt pretty sketch driving up to the Summit in the pitch dark on an (incredibly well maintained) gravel road, like- where are we going, is this place legit, are we gonna be unalived? (It def is legit!) Relief hits as the lodge comes into view. Pulling into the parking lot, we see 4 bears (mama and 3 cubs) in a lower lot. Super cool to see bears in real life *from a safe distance, behind glass*. Entering the lodge is like stepping into the North Pole as a Christmas expo of sorts (or something like that) took place earlier that day in the conference center and the whole place was beautifully and tastefully decorated with tons of Christmas trees. Also, from the few vehicles in the parking lot, I knew we weren’t the only ones staying at the lodge but I never saw anyone else. Since we arrived around 9pm, Chris had left room keys for us so we could go straight to our room for the night wo hassle. The room is modern, clean, and equipped with all the conveniences. We knew there wouldn’t be meals on site so we arrived equipped with snacks. The next morning, we were finally able to see outside our window with the morning light and wow, the mountain view was great! Exiting the lodge, we missed a turn and ended up leaving the mountain a different way than how we went up. But getting to see the place in daylight was really cool. It’s so unique, clean, quiet, and incredibly maintained. Although we didn’t exit through the main gate, the point at which we exited was also manned and gated so the whole place is pretty secure. I recommend this place, however I recommend arriving during daylight if possible, haha.
