Our three night stay in this lovely cabin was a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday. The cabin itself is warm, clean, cozy and has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Martin was incredibly thoughtful, providing us with milk, butter, and fresh eggs while still giving us plenty of privacy. There are plenty of beautiful spots to explore nearby. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene retreat in nature.

Fantastic and impressive, built by the owner. Lovely location with chickens and ducks in the garden and a beautiful stream. Perfect place for a romantic escape.

It was a beautiful oasis, tucked away on a long and windy road... we stayed there for a week and it was perfect for us. Where we stayed was everything we needed, private, far enough from Martin's house, gave us plenty of privacy while enjoying the delightful yard and garden all designed beautifully to enjoy nature. The little cabin was right next to a babbling brook, which was a soothing sound day and night, thoroughly enjoyed while we were there, and makes us smile inwardly with the memories. Little sitting places (bench and picnic table) sweetly placed near the cabin to enjoy the surroundings.. a pearl of nature. We enjoyed eggs and watching the chickens and ducks, and fresh tomatoes from their garden. Plus it was well placed to allow us to explore various places in beautiful West Cork. Our hosts were warm, responsive and clearly attentive to our welfare...and made some great suggestions about places not to be missed.... We so enjoyed our experience there and will be back.
