Klipspringer is an oasis set in the Selati Game reserve, home to the BIG 5. Immersed in a lush garden, retreat to one of our bush chalets for the best safari experience. The neighbouring watering hole provides optimal game viewing without having to venture far. The location is named after a family of Klipspringers which can be seen roaming the area and overlooks a nearby watering hole adorned with a professional photographic hide for effortless game viewing and photography. A stay at Klipspringer includes exclusive use of the lodge and all its amenities, including a daily cleaning service, gamedrives with an experienced guide and a world-class photographic hide. Klipspringer consists of the Main House, surrounded by the lush green garden, and two Private Bush Chalets, nestled around the swimming pool and open air boma overlooking the African bushveld. The lodge can accommodate a group of up to 12 guests, and a minimum of 4 guests. The waterhole provides game viewing without having to venture far. Our world class hide is any wildlife photographer’s dream, professional and amateur alike. In the Main house you'll find the lounge and dining area, the bar overlooking the African bush and the deck with uninterrupted views of the night-lit waterhole that is frequently visited by a wide variety of animals and birds, including the African Big Five! The Main house has a fully equipped kitchen complete with walk-in fridge. A chef can be arranged on request. The Main house has four bedrooms with king-size beds that can be set up as twin rooms, and one family room with a queen-size bed and two single beds. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms. The three Private Bush Chalets are connected to the Main house by lit walkways. Each chalet has a queen-sized bed, en-suite bathroom, and a private outdoor bath nestled among the natural boulders under the African sky. Each chalet has its own deck, where guests can enjoy their morning coffee. Chalets are equipped with an under-counter fridge and a fully stocked coffee station is provided. The common area is equipped with all at-home luxuries, while the surrounding environment promotes a harmonious relationship with nature. Rest and recuperate on the veranda, enjoy dinner under the stars at the open eating area, refresh in the crystal clear pool, and journey to the watering hole to marvel at the wondrous wildlife that calls Selati home.
