had a fantastic time and this small Cottage. Clare was very hospitable and helpful just be careful if you are over six foot it is an old English Cottage and low ceilings downstairs. I did bump my head a couple of times but it's all the fun of staying in a small Cottage. Surrounding areas with beautiful and it was in the right location for myself and my son to visit our planned destinations.

Lovely little place to spend a couple of days - perfect for visiting Hastings. And very quick and efficient communication from Clare throughout the booking process. Great little pub down the road too! 👍🏻

We had a great stay at Clare’s place. Would definitely stay again and would recommend. The garden was a great addition and the house was really cosy and had everything that we needed.

Staying at the Magpie cottage was absolutely lovely - charming and cosy cottage was easy to find with Clare's instructions, and even though we didn't get to meet Clare as it was self check in, we felt that if there were problems she would reply quickly. Clean and comfortable, bedrooms and lounge were lovely to relax in, especially with the fire place in the evenings. Some people have commented on the busy road out front, but personally it didn't bother us, and it's quiet by the evenings. There was a local pub and post office/village shop that was less than a minute walk away, that could have anything you would need. Would recommend to anyone :)
