A beautiful historic lower villa built in 1892. We have recently purchased this beautiful property and have fully renovated it. There is a spacious king bedroom, a lovely twin room and a walled garden to relax with an outdoor store for bikes and outdoor equipment. Set in a lovely quiet road, it’s a couple of minutes to the fantastic high street and there is parking directly outside. We are new to Airbnb but we have another property with a 5* rating and we will aim for the same here. The pretty apartment is the ground floor of this beautiful stone building. There are a couple of steps up to the front entrance and zero steps to the rear. KITCHEN - The fully equipped kitchen has everything you might need during your stay, including a Lavazza coffee machine, gas hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils and silverware. There is a table with four chairs. Off the kitchen is the boot room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and space for coats and shoes. LIVING ROOM - The light and bright living room has two large sofas, a coffee table and a large flat screen tv with satellite channels. We have recently exposed the original floor boards which we were delighted to find had been treated, sanded and varnished - they show plenty of history. In the living room, you can also find fiction and cookery books. BEDROOMS - There are two beautiful bedrooms which are both equipped with black out blinds: - the master bedroom is fitted with a king-size bed, bedside tables with lamps, a very large wardrobe and a chest of drawers. - the second bedroom includes two single beds and and a large antique wardrobe with drawers. BATHROOM - The fully renovated bathroom includes a large walk in shower. OTHER - The property is equipped with an iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner and has full central heating. LINEN AND CONSUMABLES - We are pleased to provide hotel-quality linens, towels, bathroom essentials, and professional cleaning services. GARDEN - We have recently renovated our lovely walled back garden (July 2023) and it is ideal for soaking up the sun during the summer months. There are two dining areas, a sun trap with seating for two and a larger family dining table on the upper patio. BIKE STORE - An Asgard police-approved bike store is available for any cyclists wishing to book the property, offering storage for up to 3 large bikes. This can also be used to store other outdoor items or golf clubs. The store is secured with two disc padlocks. Whilst we have padlocks for you to use - we would encourage you to bring your own. Examples can be found on the Asgard website. Although we are very confident of the security of our bike store, please note that any items left are at your own risk. BABIES: We welcome babies and toddlers but we ask that you bring everything you might need for them with you - though please do reach out if you have any questions. It’s loved by Walkers, Bikers, Golfers, Fishermen, people with mobility difficulties, people who Love Nature, Gardeners, Fine food lovers ( I can recommend a few lovely places)
