A charming and homely, well equipped cottage ideal as a base for a short stay, located well within reach of the local correctional centre. Good quality bedding and towels. The bathroom has a lovely shower. The extra touches like the rose, milk, chocolates and coffee pods for the machine were very welcome. A peaceful farm stay, minutes outside Wellington, next to the highway to Sydney. There is some traffic noise in the background and earplugs are provided. It did not bother us. Liz was extremely helpful and welcoming. The horse and dogs and cat and hen with her chicks were charming.

We loved our stay with Elizabeth, close to Wellington and surrounds but just out of town on a farm. The Bell Boat Shed is very quirky with everything you need, comfy bed, great bathroom, kitchen basic but functional, and a nice space to relax . Thanks for welcoming us to your place.

Great stay, we really enjoyed our 3 nights at the Boat Shed with our teenage daughter. Liz was the perfect host and made us welcome as soon as we arrived. Our daughter had a great time exploring the farm and seeing the horses, cows, chickens, and friendly dogs. The Boat Shed exceeded our expectations, and was well set up with a lot of thought given to the small details.

What a gem! High recommend! My son requested a farm stay during the school holidays and Liz's place fit the bill. We had an amazing 3 night stay on the farm. Liz's attention to detail means guests have every possible comfort during their stay. We enjoyed meeting the animals, learning all about the farm's operations and chilling in the garden in the afternoon sun. Playing ball with the friendly dogs was a trip highlight. We loved our stay. . Cooking amenities: as per photos, kitchen includes a small fridge/freezer, single hot plate, kettle, toaster, microwave, and another appliance (air fryer? but didn't use). Plenty of saucepans/frying, microwave containers, plates, bowls and cutlery. There's a large kitchen sink for washing dishes during your stay. Woolworths and Coles are ~5 min drive in town, along with a few different pubs and cafes. (Note Calf & Cow offered steamed veg/salad sides for kids meals.) Easy drive (~5 min) to Wellington Caves/Japanese Garden.
