We had a phenomenal thanksgiving weekend at this cottage! The place was super clean, easy to find, relaxing, and had beautiful scenery! Rose was a great host - very responsive, kind, and informative! Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway :)

The cottage was perfect for our Thanksgiving weekend! A beautiful location and the cottage itself was so cozy, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Rose really did a great job of communicating and providing all the little things so we didn’t have to worry about them. The snacks and drinks were so thoughtful and welcoming, it was nice to not have to rush out for necessities as soon as we arrived. It was truly a worry free, relaxing and peaceful weekend. We have been staying in the Madawaska Valley for many years and this cottage has one of the most beautiful properties and locations on the lake. We can’t wait to go back in the summer!

Rose's cottage is cute as a button. Very well decorated and super clean and comfortable. The beach was PERFECT for our kids to splash around and play, they loved the paddleboat. Rose is a very thoughtful host and left a drinks in the fridge and a little snack box with chips and granola bars and nuts. The kitchen was well stocked with olive oil, salt, pepper and all of the pots, pans, plates and cups that we needed. Everything was great! The only small hiccup was that the we couldn't figure out the remotes for the TV (one had dead batteries) but Rose reached out to her neighbours who came over to replace the batteries. She was very responsive the whole time with any questions or concerns that we had and did everything she could to resolve any issues that we had! We would definitely stay again and would recommend the cottage to anyone!

Rose and her family is just great! From the moment we booked, we asked about the availability of canoes or other water equipment and Rose was very quick to reply and accommodating. She even offered to contact some rental shops nearby if ever we need more canoes. The place is super clean. Rose and her family was super generous. They even provided snacks and drinks so that you can just relax and enjoy your stay. We had a kid with us and she really enjoyed both the pedal boat and the canoe. The view from this property was great especially in the morning and before sunset. Life jackets were also provided in different sizes. The property is complete with all the necessary equipment you need for a relaxing vacation. They even have an air fryer! We also had a fun night playing board games provided by our generous host. The internet is also good :) The property is not really hard to find. We had a wonderful time. To Rose and her family, thank you very much. We will come back back again for sure. :)
