Our stay at The Shire was lovely. Everything was as described and the hosts were extremely helpful and kind. It’s such a gorgeous place, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Cindy and Richard have a beautiful place. It was so peaceful and serene. We were there the end of September and the weather was cooling down but the heater worked great and even the drizzle didn’t damper our stay. We used the gas fire pit and sat outside and enjoyed our surroundings. The hot water didn’t work during our stay at the site but we didn’t need it and we let them know at check out. The bathroom down the hill had hot water for our showers and that was all we needed. I would recommend this quaint getaway.

There aren’t enough words to describe how happy we are with our stay ❤️ from the hosts, to patch the cat (who stole our hearts) and the stunning views… it was heaven on earth. Both my husband and I left teary eyed grateful for the adventures we had, patch’s company, and the breathtaking surroundings. Thank you both for everything, it was an absolute dream! We hope to come back again.

This place was so cozy and beautiful. Everything we needed was taken care of, and we were able to just rest, relax, and rejuvenate, which was so needed. Had a magical weekend here and would do it again.
