We stayed four days and five nights. Compared to our previous Airbnb stays, this was not a typical Airbnb. The accommodations were adequate, but very basic. You did not feel you were inside someone's home. It had more of a motel feel. That said, the accommodations were very clean and the staff was excellent in responding to all questions. Communication is with the staff, not with Palmer. Several items, e.g., trash bags, listed in the listing were not in the cottage but the staff quickly remedied that. We like to cook one or two meals while we are away and found the kitchen to be minimalist, e.g., one dish towel, no oven mitts and 3 wine glasses and plates instead of four. There is one laundry facility to be shared with other guests in another building. We loved having access to bikes since Sanibel is such a great island to bike around. We took advantage of that everyday. The walk to the beach was short. Overall, we enjoyed out stay very much.

Nice short walk down the street to the beach. Very clean cottage, everything supplied that we needed. Manager in the office was very responsive if we had a question , even after hours.

The unit is exactly as described. Bikes, grill, free laundry as well as awesome little sitting areas for cocktails… which was where we spent every night after the beach! You’ll definitely want no see em spray as they are pretty bad since the storm…There was also an adjoining bedroom/bath called a “lockout” which was great when I had an additional guest join us. I originally missed that in the listing but it was fantastic.. the island has a long way to go but Palm View is good to go!!

We booked Palmer’s Airbnb just for one night. Everything in it is brand new which was delightful. I loved having a bike available to ride around the island. We were close to the beaches the hundred dollar cleaning fee stung for one night, but if I had booked additional nights, it probably wouldn’t have felt quite so big, otherwise it was an amazing experience highly recommend
