We found this Airbnb to be a great value and would indeed stay again. It's really pretty quiet but I think we heard the train once or twice the first night? But definitely spacious enough for two couples and the rooms each have their own bathroom. We stayed as one couple and really spread out! Parking might be a bit tight if you have a big truck? Be advised!

Very clean and in a great location walkable to some of our favorite restaurants and coffee shop in Encinitas! Very responsive host! Since it is an upstairs unit i would say it’s not ideal for babies but other than that its overall a great place!

This is a terrible, unhealthy place to stay with an awful host who does not respect your privacy. The host sent a person into our unit without notice after I specifically instructed her to not enter the unit. My wife was terrified when a stranger entered the unit while I was out, and the host simply refused to acknoledge that this was even a problem. The sinks produce black debris and drain poorly. There is mould/mildew on the furniture. In the strongest language possible, DO NOT stay at this place.

I'm very Grateful to have spent 10 days of my vacation in Shangwens Lovely eco friendly apartment. I was determined not to have a car on this trip, but to walk everywhere instead, which was so easy from this location! Beaches, wonderful cafes, restaurants, shops and Grocery Stores, all less than a 25 minute walk. And my favorite was the best Farmers Market on Sunday, just 2 blocks away! I spent 4 hours there! The space was wonderful and peaceful. I Loved the sunshine coming in the main bedroom from 8a-1p, in which I practiced yoga and sat curled up in the big cozy chair. The kitchen was minimal but it worked out perfectly for me. I cooked everyday and filled the fridge with so many goodies from the farmers market. Beds and linens were perfect, bringing on deep, solid sleeps :) I had such a Lovely, memorable stay in Encinitas, finding everyone I encountered extremely friendly. And Shangwens space made it all the better. I am hoping to return every year!
