Cute little cottage, perfect for a quick getaway

This is a little gem , if you are travelling solo or as a couple. Dog friendly with fully fenced, very secure garden for the dogs. Very quiet and private. The electric blanket was appreciated, as was the tv in the bedroom, and the mini chocolate chip cookies. Highly recommend, I will be back .

Clean and tidy. Great mattress and comfy sheets. Unfortunately the neighbour woke me up at 2:30 in the morning with what sounded like boat engine. Other then that, pretty good experience.

This was a really lovely place to stay. The two big couches in the lounge are great - you and your partner can have one couch each whilst watching the big TV. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook up a storm. The TV in the bedroom is good to use as well when lying in bed. I really liked the garden which was lovely to sit out in during the day. The shops(including all major supermarkets and stores) are only five minutes walk away which was very handy. Several lakes are close by which we checked out and several beaches are also only around a half an hour drive away. We also went to Maffco(brewery and distillery in Maffra) which was only a fifteen minute drive away and had great food and beer. Lillian very kindly arranged our last minute booking and was lovely to chat to over the phone.

'The Shack' is a fabulous little place. Beautifully furnished, plenty of kitchen utensils, comfy bed and great shower. Although located in a semi industrial area, the location is perfect, quiet and very private. 5 minute walk into town. Highly recommend and I will stay again. Lillian is very responsive with communications. Stay here, it's fabulous.
