Our 5 acre Guava & Mango farm is located at the Jawadhu foothills. A great weekend gateway for Chennaiites who want to take a break from a busy urban lifestyle. Surrounded by lush green mountains & farm lands outside, while the indoor gives comfort of your home. This is not a commercial tourist location! It’s a unique stay within a farm, 360 degree covered by mountains. The place will undo your urban chaos & gives calm, peaceful & heavenly stay. Experience farming, cattle & poultry raising. 2 bedrooms are equipped with orthopedic beds which will provide the right comfort & rest for you to relax. The windows in the living & bedroom will open to a scenic view of mountains. Living room is equipped with comfortable sofa, coffee table & LED TV with Amazon Prime subscription. With this your group can’t miss the popcorn hour! A fully functional kitchen with a gas stove, mixer grinder, refrigerator along with required cooking & serving utensils will unveil the MasterChef within your group. But, If you can’t find one in your group, don’t worry, we can either arrange for food or a cook on need basis with additional cost. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee from the portico swing indulging into the nature. Prepare your own charcoal barbeque while sharing more time with your family & friends. We grow cattle & poultry, which will never miss to thrill your kids.

I highly recommend Urban Undo to anyone seeking a rejuvenating escape in Tamil Nadu,The host was friendly,I like cooking myself and all the basic utensils were available. It's more than just a farm stay; it's a heartwarming experience that will leave you feeling refreshed, connected, and grateful.
The place is at Jawadhu foothills not in Jawadhu which we found it very inconvenience to come back after 65 km up and down from Jawadhu. And every attraction is atleast 25km from here. Our visit doesnt have helper to cook our food which was informed by host and you dont have any decent restaurants near by. You have to go vaniyambadi or vellore which is around 37km from here if you dont cook. Our vacation we went for relaxation but it was tough cooking by ourselves with no help around. If you want to stay at the farm by cooking yourself with all the groceries you bring at Jawadhu foothills then this is this place.
we had a family weekend here with 2 toddlers and a preschool child. the children loved the place, cattle and the fresh air. host shared the pinned location takes us to the footsteps of the property. but, vehicles with low ground clearance will get easily scratched. location was awesome. Host coordinated with us throughout the stay to arrange food and beverages. the property, even though in a remote village was extremely well maintained with modern amenities available. host has put in a lot of thoughts into the house with paintwork, lighting and establishing practicality. you can find a switch in every nook and corner, i was amazed to see that they have installed 2 fans in the porch! there was also a swing - low hung, which kids loved.. as it is easy for them to get on. but, it is not for everybody. there is no network coverage with 2g speeds internet, it is a serious dopamine detox. food was not too much customisable. longer stays will be difficult with repeat menu. great stay overall
Ayshwarya is an amazing host! Undo urban is a great place for a weekend getaway from Chennai. The caretaker and his family were super friendly and extremely hospitable. 10/10 for the experience. Surely coming back :)

Farming & cattle raising are the primary source of income throughout this stretch of villages. You can find Banana, Mango, Gauva & Sapota farms and seasonal crops like Ragi, Horsegram, Groundnut, Urid Dhal & flowers are also grown here. You can experience the farming activities by taking a morning walk.
If you love trekking, there are various levels of trekking sites in & around the location. This state highway is famous for cyclist. During cycling events we can see many bikes taking this route to reach Jawadhu hills.
Within farm, you can spend time with our cow, hens & cocks. You can pluck our farm Guavas and relish it. If you want to get your hands dirty on farming, you can engage in weeding, pruning ploughing & grass cutting activities.
A short drive (10 km) from the farm will lead to mountain route this connects the next town Aalyangayam. You can enjoy the valley beauty en-route.
Explore the nearby farms & mountains by walk. Having a motorbike or car is mandatory to move around the places. The nearest shopping place (Asanampattu Village) is around 3 km away, where one can get basic essentials. The nearest town is Odugathur which is 12 km away.
