Amazing St Ives apartment with a breathtaking sea view overlooking Porthminster beach. It's one of the best views in St Ives. Beach is 5 mins walk if you are able to use a very steep lane nearby the apartment Apart from the view, the apartment has good furnitures, nice comfy beds, loads of kitchen utensils, loads of toys for kids of all ages, loads of books to read on a lazy day. Host is responsive, check-in was smooth. We had a small issue, the wifi was shared with another guest house, hence didn't get good coverage in all rooms. I would love to come back again and again here.

The fridge froze all our food solid on the first night. So we had to throw all our food in the bin. Escape to St Ives provided a new fridge the next morning. It was a bit of a pain having it stuck in the middle of the kitchen but we were VERY grateful to have a working fridge. Escape to St Ives have said that they will reimburse us for our food. The view is AMAZING. It’s the former coastguard houses so by the nature of that is the view. Slightly annoying is all the sightseers coming into the car park and garden taking photos of the view. But I guess that’s all part of the modern Instagram life.. It shows it’s a brilliant view. It has off road parking which is great for St Ives. It’s slightly dated but very very clean and tidy and minimal which is great Very comfy beds Really warm and cosy Well stocked kitchen with everything you need to self cater. Plus dishwasher etc There is a very steep lane near by for direct access onto the beach. If you are fit you’ll be on the beach in 5 minutes. The view really is the best in St Ives The only downfall is all the sightseers and people walking and driving into the car park to take a photo. One guy even used the lawn as his toilet. This is something the OWNERS really need to address. Other than that highly recommended
