This was the best Airbnb experience I have ever had, hands down. The house is absolutely beautiful - newly renovated and with excellent attention to detail, beautifully furnished and very clean. It is very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The shower is great. The fireplace is a lovely touch. It is in the perfect location, and it was quite funny to watch other tourists take photographs in front of the house - it is a spectacular house. The real highlight of this experience was our host, Vivienne. Vivienne was an outstanding host. She took time out of her day to come and greet us and show us around the house. She provided great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Inside the house, she has a brochure of the local restaurants, with ‘stars’ based on her perception of their quality. It is clear she really cares for her guests. I highly recommend staying here, you wont be disappointed!
Viviane is the perfect host every airbnbist dreams of. Her house has been refurbished with taste and love and it is right in the heart of the amazing town of Eguisheim. We loved our stay!
Our stay was a dream - the perfect Christmas! The home was exactly as described, spotlessly clean, with all the conveniences we could hope for. It is an absolutely beautiful house located on an enchanting street in an enchanting town. While you cannot park (or even really drive) on the street itself because it is a small medieval street, there was ample free or low-cost parking close by, only a short walk (and it was possible to pull up close briefly to load/unload luggage). Viviane is a charming and thoughtful hostess, with many small touches that made us feel immediately at home. She had even decorated beautifully for Christmas. When we had a medical issue arise, she was quickly responsible and helpful in guiding us through available options (fortunately we ended up not needing serious care!). There was plenty of space for our family of 5 (though because of the exquisite decorations and steep stairs, it wouldn't be suitable for young children). We would love to return someday!
Une maison de charme, décorée avec goût, literie très confortable. Une cuisine époustouflante. Une hôtesse très accueillante. Le parking est un peu loin, seul bémol et les rues verglacées ce week-end. Mais là Viviane n'y pouvait rien !!!

Maison et emplacement que nous recommandons pour visiter les beaux marchés de Noël d Alsace. Maison ou on s y sent comme chez soi. merci Viviane.

je suis tout nouvellement hôte et je vous accueille dans une maison moyenageuse du 15° siècle, construite sur les remparts de l'un des plus beaux villages d'Alsace. J'ai mis beaucoup de coeur et de passion (et d'argent aussi...) pour la rénovation de cette maison qui a duré 2 ans et qui a été réalisée avec beaucoup de mérite par des entreprises locales; J'ai baptisé cette demeure Maison Céleste car elle m'est un peu tombée du ciel .... J'espère que les voyageurs apprécieront cette maison, son histoire, son patrimoine et en prendront grand soin. Mon objectif est "come as a guest, stay as a family". J'aime beaucoup les voyages même si j'ai un peu peur de prendre l'avion, j'adore la bonne cuisine (ça se voit au 1er coup d'oeil), les jardins, les vieilles pierres, les poutres apparentes, le patrimoine, la déco et ....chiner, ma grande passion. D'ailleurs la maison est remplie d'objets et meubles chinés. Mais ce que j'adore au delà de tout, ce sont mes 2 enfants chéris Je suis une parisienne aux origines limousines qui a posé ses valises en Alsace il y a bien longtemps et qui ne veut plus en partir tellement j'aime cette région :) Et quand j'écris, je ne sais pas faire court :))
