We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Erika’s. It is immaculate and well equipped for a short or longer stay. Erika has set up the space truly with the guest in mind. Two of us worked remotely for 30 days at Erika’s and the Wi-Fi never glitched once. Great speed and reliability. What we enjoyed the most was the walk ability of the area. Public transportation, restaurants, coffee shops, and locally owned shops all within a 5-10 minute walk from the house! Never had a bad meal in the area. It is the best of both worlds a safe quiet street just steps from the vibrant active community of central Bethesda. We would highly recommend if you are considering a stay in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area.
We had the most wonderful stay at Erika’s! Her place is immaculate and so comfortable and homey. We loved the location - it’s close to everything, yet set in a quiet, safe neighborhood: perfect for taking our dog out for frequent walks. Erika is so nice and is extremely responsive to questions. The home is very well appointed and super cozy. We loved our time there and hope to be back soon!
Very convenient to Metro, restaurants, stores, and shopping
Erika’s Airbnb is a gem and she’s such a thoughtful (and responsive) host. Her house has lots of light and art, is walking distance from a train station, and located on a picturesque little street. We loved all the thoughtful little touches like board games. Highly recommend!
Erika's place was just what we were looking for - close to the metro , and room for our family. Erika thought of everything - tea, coffee, breakfast items. Erika was incredibly responsive and helpful in all respects. We look forward to staying at Erika's place next trip.

自我介绍
I enjoy continually improving the space so that each guest feels like the first guest. I've done much of the renovation work myself, and it has been a labor of love! I also make sure to comply with all local laws regarding renting and I was even involved in the creation of the county ordinance for short term rentals! That was an interesting process, and it really makes a difference that I live on the premises. My philosophy as a host is to provide as much privacy as the guest would like, while also being always available as I live in another section of the house. I love being an Airbnb Host as it has been a very happy experience to meet (or text with!) such delightful guests, and it has allowed me to continue living in this wonderful (and unfortunately very expensive) neighborhood. I have lived in this house for over 25 years, raising two sons, and now it feels very natural to share this great location with travelers from all over the world. My favorite activities are hiking in the surprisingly scenic surroundings of DC or spending time outside gardening. I do spend a good deal of time on my computer as I’m a website designer with a home-based business. I love to travel and I've lived in France and Russia, starting out in both places without speaking the language so I know what it's like not to understand what people are saying. Eventually I became fluent, and then mostly forgot it all, but the lesson that stayed with me is that people can always find a way to communicate.
