I had a really good stay at Antonio’s place. The host was very hospitable, completely respected his guests and did everything he can to make me happy. There is also a store on the first floor if you need anything and a barbershop right next door which was convenient. The rooftop was open for work if you needed to do any work. The room was great but one thing that can improve it is having doors that are easier to lock. Every time I closed the door, I needed to manually lock it.

Antonio is a great host. He makes big efforts to make everybidy happy and to.make your stay as good as possible. we would recommend his place and great food!

Antonio est quelqu’un de très agréable. Avec mes amis, nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux et ce n’est pas pour rien que certains de mes amis ont voulu prolonger leur séjour dans cet hôtel. Il n’y a rien à dire sur la propreté ! Je recommande fortement cet hébergement ;)

Pensão Sodade has nice rooms. Good breakfast. Slightly far from the centre of São Felipe (1km uphill but clearly doable). There is also a small shop where you can get groceries. Antonio is a very kind and helpful host. During this Covid stricken time, the restaurant on the roof was closed and there was no Internet. Overall, had a good stay. Just had some issues with a "local guide" that sometimes come here, Claudio / Ziki charging too much and fooling you around while pretending to friendly. Better to check with Antonio first.
