During our stay to Alleppy. We stayed at this beautiful homestay of Jude uncle and leena aunty. I must say this couple is very sweet,friendly. Leena aunty cooked for us a local kerala style food which was very tasty. They shared some useful information about the place. Their sweet daughter Anna took us to the beautiful church nearby. They even offered us bicycles for free to visit a beach nearby. The beach is very clean and private. Those who are planning to visit I must say please book your stay here for amazing food, private beach and clean rooms.

I stayed at Bethsaida for 2 days in the first week of September 2023. I was quite apprehensive about going for cheaper options since I had to work during my trip and needed stable wi-fi and power backup. So, after staying in 2 different places for few days. I finally decided not to spend too much unnecessarily and moved to Bethsaida and to my surprise I had the best experience in there. The room was spotlessly clean. The hosts, Leena aunty and Jude uncle, were so friendly and caring. They just did not serve delicious and authentic dishes, but also their knowledge about the place and their life experiences, which was real good food for my thoughts as well. You can also expect some great surprises in their garden. They have everything that a 5-star facility could not offer with rooms that are spick and span as well as authentic culinary experience. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank u both for being such nice hosts.

It was a very homely stay. The host was always smiling and very sweet. I travelled with my mother and they became good friends as well. The place was clean, well-maintained and such lovely home-cooked meals were provided for additional (but very nominal) charges. The garden, surroundings were beautiful and fish pond with fishes were also there. A cute and friendly dog, a plant nursery next door and a quiet village were the highlights. Happy to have made a new friend. Will definitely be back to experience all of it again!! If you are looking for a quiet, homely staycation, this is your best bet!

Jude’s place was a great find for me. It’s in a place called Thankey and is located beautifully admist nature and a pond that houses fish. There are local markets and an auto stand within 2 mins walking distance. The room has a double bed with an attached Bathroom. Please note this is a Non AC room and if you want to use the AC you have have to pay extra ( INR 350). Leena, the owner the hostess is kind, caring and an amazing cook. She made some sumptuous dinner and I have loved her cooking. Food is chargeable and at nominal rates if you see the effort Leena puts in preparing the food. The wifi works well and they have a dedicated workspace. Strongly recommended
