Villa Meli is only 10 kilometers away from Pula, the largest city of the Istrian peninsula that has some amazing attractions. Vodnjan is a little town that still has an appearance of a compact medieval place where representative palaces from various eras can be found, for example the palace of the Bettica Counts dating in the year 1300. Vodnjan area has the most preserved kažuns (little stone houses) in Istria, around 3000. It also has a little church of st. Fosca, as some say, built on a location of certain energy radiations.
