Absolutely beautiful to be away from it all!

Andy’s cabin was the perfect cosy getaway for 2, with complete privacy and breathtaking forestry surrounds, it is the perfect place to relax and rewind. We had some issues with the bathtub, however, this was out of Andy’s control and he had somebody fix it for us whilst we were there, he also communicated well and gave us a reasonable refund for the trouble. Would recommend Andy’s cabin to anyone who needs a refreshing getaway. Add this one to your list.

The location is beautiful, quiet and private, perfect for a quiet getaway. The interior layout is nice, it’s spacious for two people and the fireplace makes the cabin very cozy. There were, however, a few issues with the accommodation: On arrival, there was no firewood, the cabin was quite dusty, there were dusty cobwebs on almost all lights and a few on the ceiling, we would have like to have used the oven but unfortunately we couldn't find any baking trays, etc. Though the very kind and helpful property manager Michael was able to solve the firewood problem, our stay at the cabin was overshadowed by the feeling of the accommodation being somewhat neglected. Overall we quite disappointed by how expensive the stay was in comparison to the quality of the cabin.

It was the perfect place to recover after a three day hike! A very comfortable place surrounded by beautiful bushland. Bird and pademelon watching from the deck. Fantastic bath!

Absolutely stunning house and surroundings. The outdoor bath was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shelter Belt. It was the perfect place for a mini retreat, so relaxing and wonderful to be so immersed in nature. We did come across a couple of small challenges. There was only a very small amount of firewood which worked out okay for the amount we wanted to use it but wouldn’t have been enough if we’d had the fire going for the whole two days. We also had some trouble with our booking not being on the property manager’s records and neither he or us were able to get hold of Andy to resolve this. Thankfully Michael, the property manager, was extremely accomodating and managed to sort it out for us by the time we arrived. Other than those little hiccups it was a five star experience for sure!
