We had a really nice time staying at this cabin. It was extremely peaceful to sit by the lake or play games in the heated porch/living room area. What a great way to unplug and enjoy nature!

Clean and small cabin; description photos are accurate. Barbara was very accommodating and kind helping us with a last-minute booking. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the firepit or the lake but the outdoor area looked wonderful. At first I was concerned because the cabin is close to a road-- the bedroom windows actually face the road so you sleep with your head near the road. I was worried I wouldn't be able to sleep because we noticed it was busy when we arrived in the evening with lots of vehicle noise. But by the time we went to bed there was less traffic and it got quieter. I'm explaining this so people know what to expect-- near the road, but the road does quiet down in the evening and we found it peaceful.

great location for spending time with my young daughters. we swam, we fished, we played boardgames outside in the lighted gazebo right by the lake. ot was peaceful and fun and I would definitely book again. thanks to Barbara for being a great host and having a wonderful place.
