The motel was a pleasant stop in our trip from Seattle to Yellowstone. We enjoyed the deep tub after a long day of travel and the bed was comfortable. We took time in the morning to walk around the town and have a quick breakfast before getting back on the road. I would recommend staying there if you get a chance.

Great space, very cozy and comfortable, and the host was a great communicator! Was a little worried about someone’s review of thin walls, and while every once and a while I heard my neighbors, nothing distracting or uncomfortable. Would recommend!

It's a really nice motel, but the people who own and run it are what make it really shine. They have probably the best communication of any Airbnb I've ever stayed at. We asked a lot of them and they were ready and willing to help every step of the way. Definitely recommend!

So cozy!! I loved how it was cabin-like on the outside and that the kitchen was like, modern. The bedroom was very comfortable & cute. The Prospector is in a great location. Self check-in was so simple. One thing, the walls are quite thin, we could easily hear the other guests' tv. We weren't in the room much though and it didn't bother me. Definitely going to stay here next time I find myself in Idaho City.
