It's a nice townhouse with a beautiful view from the dining room/kitchen. It's located 3 min drive from the town center. The neighbors are very welcoming. They helped us find the apartment when we first arrived. The bathroom looked clean, but it had a strong smell.

Maison très propre. Le fait qu'il y a une laveuse et un lave-vaisselle est très apprécié. À notre goût, les matelas sont trop durs. Malheureusement, il y a un haut taux d'humidité dans lamaison. Il faudrait un déshumidificateur plus puissant.

We had a lovely holiday at The Furnas Azores House. Furnas alone has plenty to see and do, and is a great location to explore the whole island. The house itself is well located, away from the bustle of the centre of the village but walking distance to the caldeiras, which we visited a couple of times in the evening once all the tourists had gone. (You can see the steam from the caldeiras from the balcony of the house.) The house is modern and well equipped, we easily cooked several meals and had plenty space to relax when at home. I was especially grateful for the extra towels for the thermal pools which made it possible for us to visit them. And Gary and Flávia were very responsive and helpful when we messaged them with queries.
