Another wonderful stay at Karen’s place. Beautiful, private and peaceful surroundings. Comfortable bed and nice amenities.

The room pictured is not the room that I stayed in. It was similar, but not this room. Check-in was easy and the room was clean and fine. There was a small day bed in the corner of the room that allowed for one more person, which was great. There was no remote for the TV, and we couldn't find any buttons on it to turn it on. We didn't reach out to the host because we had brought a laptop anyway, so we just used that. There were also 2 remotes for the fireplace, but we couldn't get those to work either (just for the backlighting) - again, not a big deal because it wasn't cold. The bed was a little on the soft side for us, and we both woke up with a sore back. Karen's kids are very sweet, and they love dogs. :) The property is gorgeous, and the family keeps chickens, which was fun for me and the dogs to see. Karen is very responsive, polite, and helpful. Overall, we were very please that we found such a nice little corner of the world to stay in, and we would love to stay again.
