The place is very peaceful with beautiful pools. The house was as advertised in the pictures. Too many cats following us around waiting to get inside our room. Secondly, we found a giant ant infestation. The host responded swiftly and took care of cleaning and sprayed the ants. Lastly, the food at the restaurant was delicious.

My husband and I stayed here with our 8 month old baby and our stay far exceeded our expectations! The property is even more beautiful in person. It’s essentially a boutique hotel so while we had our own little cabin with a private kitchen and bathroom we also had access to the amenities including two pools, a restaurant and bar (open most days but double check hours with the staff), and a beautiful rooftop yoga space with incredible. These were all helpful to have while our baby napped or if it was too hot to go to the beach. Even though we had an outdoor kitchen/living space it was off to the edge of the property so it felt private. There is also a cleaning service! The only things worth knowing about the property but that didn’t affect our rating is that it is an outdoor kitchen so keep in mind if you leave anything out you will have ants. It’s also a very steep climb up a hill. Only about 5-10 mins to town but worth knowing if you have small children and no car.

El alojamiento en carpe diem fue magnífico, la comida del restaurante increíble y las áreas comunes nos encantaron. Yo recomendaría optar por una habitación sin cocina porque el restaurante es de lo mejor, a buen precio y un imperdible. Reyna, la encargada del hotel, súper anfitriona. Nos ayudó con las recomendaciones locales, horarios flexibles, nos ayudó a resolver rápida y eficazmente.

Nos encantó nuestra estancia en Carpe Diem. Se siente como un oasis. Tiene todo que uno puede necesitar con la alberca allí, la sombra y refugio del sol, y el restaurante y bar. Llegando tenía la cabaña un garrafón lleno, un detalle que agradezco mucho. La propiedad tiene gatos y el personal pura mujer que le da un toque muy mágico.

La arquitectura, la distribución, sus espacios, la limpieza, todo estuvo tal como lo publicitan. La calle de acceso está en pésimo estado y como se trata de una colina se compromete mucho el vehículo...es difícil acceder...
