My self and 6 friends stayed at Dave’s property for New Years and we had an incredible time! Dave very kindly upgraded us to make us more comfortable and the house was absolutely beautiful! The fire made it so cozy and the large windows overlooking the vast fields were mesmerising, especially on a rainy day. Dave was a wonderful host and was always very attentive to our needs, all of our texts and requests were answered and sorted in minutes! The sauna was also a very welcome bonus :) Would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat, thank you Dave!

We have a wonderful few days at Dave’s barn. Beautiful & peaceful surroundings. The shed full of toys was a real hit with the kids too!

Burnt Barns Farm – The Cabin The surroundings are beautiful. Calming green countryside and peace. The Cabin was spacious and we could tell that once upon a time it would have been a perfect place to stay. It was lovely for Bruno the dog as the garden was completely enclosed. But had he been smaller he would have been able to escape through holes in the chicken wire and a gap under the gate to the driveway. It could be a lovely place again with a little TLC. (E.G. A professional clean) We found The Cabin grubby and sticky, and the windows and mirrors were smeared with fingerprints and grime. The bed linen didn’t seem clean, the sheets were bobbled and the pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. There was a pristine free standing bath. The plug didn’t hold the water in hence it was not usable. There were no wineglasses. The plug hole in the bath room sink was quite clogged. The wardrobes, corners behind doors were rife with cobwebs and spiders.

We absolutely loved our stay - exactly the kind of peace and quiet we needed! The property is beautiful, much bigger than the photos suggested! Compared to other places, the price was very reasonable aswell. We will definitely be booking again.

My family had a wonderful stay at Dave's cabin. The cabin is cosy and welcoming in all weathers, as per the description. A large, open and bright space, which was generally very peaceful. The wider farm was lovely to be around too, and we enjoyed seeing the cows, horses and tractor. A highlight was kayaking and taking a dip in the lake. We were lucky to bump into Dave, who is as friendly and kind in person as he was via message. We hope to come back one day!
