Lovely few days stay as a family. Property was exactly as you see in the pictures.
Lovely place to stay. and easy to get to with a car.. could take dog. Great walks along the beach at low tide. Is what we were looking for.
The accommodation was amazing - spotlessly clean, well-equipped, spacious and the sea view was amazing! We loved the garden and the location was ideal for dog walks - long or short - along the beach. Beach bar about 15 mins away! Local shops nearby and Eastbourne reachable on foot along the beach or short drive. Great attractions in the area, including Pevensey Castle (nice pub opposite the entrance.) Really appreciated the welcome hamper. Eddie could not have been a kinder and friendlier host. We absolutely loved our short break here!!!
As soon as we walked in to the ‘bungalow’ we were wowed by the stunning view of the sea.. What a wonderful slice of heaven - it was wonderful to sit outside as the evening arrived and be just moments from the sea. We loved it and will definitely come again. The decor is beautiful ( I love Pollack !) and all in great condition. Shower and bath are fab with lovely hot water. The treats when we arrived were generous and much appreciated as we hadn’t had time to shop.
We had a great stay. The location right on the beach is FANTASTIC! So amazing to wake up and end the day with the sight and sound of the sea - nothing beats it. We were greeted with a lovely welcome hamper. The house looks exactly like the photos and has so many amenities. Our children are 3.5yo & 6mo and there was more than enough space and also a selection of toys and books that they could both enjoy. The location was perfect for exploring East Sussex. We visited Pevensey and Herstmonceaux Castles, Bexhill and St Leonard’s, Knockhatch Adventure Park and the swimming pool at Sovereign Bay. We got amazing pizza from Massilia Bay and nice fish & chips from Swan Traditional. There’s a big Asda a few mins drive away, which was v handy too. We contacted the owners Eddie and Allison for help with the heating as the weather had just turned and they were very quick to respond and they kindly popped in to assist us. All in all a fab stay and we would love to return one day.Thank you!
