Great place, very private and thoughtfully decorated and stocked. The host was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay. Location is right in the airport flight path, beware if you have sensitive sleepers in your group. Very manageable with windows closed though.

We really enjoyed our visit to San Diego and our stay in Marilee's cottage house. The location is wonderful for easy access to much of what San Diego has to offer, including Balboa Park, prime restaurant locations and the airport. The house itself is great -- super clean, modern and decorative appointments that rival or even surpass our own home. The bedroom is large and includes extra seating and a desk, and the living area is spacious and openly connected to the kitchen area, much as you would find in a newer home. The bathroom and shower are great, too. Plus there's a close and convenient parking area for our car right next to the home. We enjoyed relaxing in Marilee's place in between our sightseeing trips and visits will local family, and we slept well on the large and comfortable bed. Despite being fairly close to the airport, the house was quiet, too. All in all, this was one of the best AirBnB locations we've stayed in so far.
