Great place to stay. We had family in the hospital and just needed a place to sleep.

This place had its pros and cons. The host was very friendly and responsive, we loved the location since it was close to most things, and the beds were very comfortable. However upon entry there was a strange smell in the house so we turned on the AC and cracked the window for a little bit to let it clear out. There was also a hole in the wall between one bedroom and the bathroom that you could clearly see through. There were also some stains on the couch and patch work on some walls.

The location was great. The house, however, really needs some repairs. Several of the walls have drywall over the paint, there was definitely a distinct pet odor as soon as you open the door and there was a hole from one of the bedroom closets that allowed you to see directly into the bathroom. Otherwise, the space was clean and things were in working order.

We've stayed in other similar homes and in similar neighborhoods for the same price that had more of the basics, along with small but thoughtful additions. This house could use some attention. In addition, the fence around the yard is 2 1/2-3 feet high, which might be a consideration for someone who has dogs larger than ours. We wrote to management to let them know about something they should correct in emails to future renters, and received a message back from a bot that clearly did not understand our message. We have rented from Kentucky Life before and will most likely rent from them again. Cost is becoming more of a consideration than it was before, and the tables are turning once again, with hotels beginning to look like the attractive alternative.
