Excellent stay at dunnock Lodge views were amazing and everything is exactly as described with all cutlery pots pans etc and absolutely spotless we did forget to strip the beds for the host on which I apologise other then this we tried to leave the place just as clean as when we arrived,stunning!!

Everything looks lovely, and the location is very secluded. However when sitting in the hot tub on the first evening, we were chatting together. Someone with a dog appeared next to our decking and complained that we were being to loud. She didn't seem happy and disapeared off to the house. Nicholas then appeared, told us that 3 different lodges had complained about us and that he could kick us out any time he wanted. He then left without allowing me to ask what on earth was going on. Now we were sat talking, and never had a chance to find out what the complaint was - so I am not entirely sure what we were meant to have done, but my suggestion would be that instead of randomly turning up in the middle of the night like Jason Voorhees you perhaps ring the guest or send them a message in the app. It was a shame because it otherwise everything was great.

Beautiful location, met Nick the owner who was a kind man. Will definitely return in the future (if there is a big discount ;) )

A fantastic place with beautiful surroundings. Only point is that the lake is full of weeds and the boats provided are difficult to row due to that.

Absolutely fantastic place! The lodge was completely spotless and everything you would need is there. The location was lovely and very peaceful! We would definitely return.
