Island living on Cedar Key was what I’d hoped for! Loved the park next door for dog walking and the beach walk each morning. Fun shopping and found some great small cafes and eateries which I prefer to big restaurants. Having a golf cart with the unit was so wise; did my own island tour, never moved my Jeep till the last night. Julie’s was convenient to do much. Watched the fisherman ( clams, oysters, blue crab) come early morning off the balcony. It was my first visit to Cedar Key and not my last.
It was the perfect location! So easy to walk to everything! I loved having the golf cart with the place!!! The host was so responsive & nice! Definitely will be staying there again!
Very nice bungalow, golf cart was an excellent perk to have. The bungalow is close to everything you need to get to in Cedar Key. The deck was nice for our dog thanks to the gate. Enjoyed our stay, did not want to keave.
Beautiful location. Friendly area. My nervous Chihuahua even felt right at home. We will definitely be coming back
As a frequent traveler and Airbnb user, we were disappointed in the property. Julie and Tom were super responsive, and the instructions were very clear. The unit is well stocked as far as kitchen utensils, coffee makers, dishes, etc. The location is excellent to everything available in Cedar Key and the use of golf cart was really great and appreciated! The lack of paper towels and bath soap could have easily been overlooked with all of the other good things. But what kept us from a 5 star rating is bugs in the kitchen and the fact that the next door neighbor is running a business. We witnessed a very heated exchange with owner/customer one day and we were woken up one early morning by a very loud conversation with owner and friend? On top of that the neighbor has two very large dogs that bark aggressively at everybody that comes near. The bathrooms are super small and need updating. I didn't feel safe with the integrity of back door lock.

I am the Director of Operations for a surgical group in Tampa, FL. My husband and I discovered Cedar Key and loved it SO MUCH we got married there! After visiting several times each year (and falling a little more in love with every visit), we decided to purchase our own place. The Sunrise Cabana has been so much fun to own and share with our AirBNB family that we bought the unit two doors down in December of 2019! The Beach-Side Bungalow is ready to welcome guests in 2020 after a much needed renovation! We are so glad to share our two properties with you (and your well behaved dogs, too) and are confident you'll love the relaxation and tranquility that is sure to wrap around you the minute you get on the Island.
